: Hotel staff are very kind and helpful. Quiet and easy to reach tourist areas (walking a steep hill). Room was compact yet very comfortable.

: The rooms were good
: First we were made to live in some other hotel with less facilities for one day in the three days that we had our booking. Then one of the owners were actually very rude. Yousuf was good and also his grandfather even though he couldn't speak much. On top of that we were denied breakfast, even though it was mentioned in the booking. Overall very bad experience.

: Very close to the main attractions (Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar.
: The owner Vezel (he said it was his family's place) was agressive about taking us to his "shop". We tried not to go, but he didn't let us walk by ourselves until we went to the shop (an obvious commission scam, as everything there was more expensive then other places). He was very persistent in selling other things like Bosphoros Cruises and so on. We booked a Bosphoros cruise with him, but we were up early and they didn't come to pick us. Once I asked my money back, Vezel said he was making an "excepion" that he would return the money...("normally no money back..") Most travellers would feel uncomfortable with this level of persistence (or harassment).

: This is a cheap hotel, and you get what you pay for. It's rough around the edges. And it's ok. Staff nice enough.
: When ever someone used the water, it would make a screeching sound in our room. This happened all though the night.
